What we do

Sadaya seeks to serve and support veterans – former and retired members of the UK armed forces, police, fire services, Merchant Navy or other emergency services and their families. The word Sadaya is Hindi and means humane.

– The advancement of health and wellbeing of veterans particularly those who have suffered detriment as a result of their service. With a particular focus on peer support and techniques of psychological self support.
– The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for veterans
– To offer support by veterans, to veterans and their families and to advance health their health and wellbeing through that activity.
Sadaya also seeks to identify and offer a range of training and development opportunities to community members and volunteers as an integral part of the community development approach we use.
